Our Policies — Uniplug

Our
Policies.

We hold ourselves to the same standards we expect from the brands we platform. These are our commitments — plainly stated, no filler.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Uniplug is committed to building an inclusive environment where every person — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background — is treated with dignity and given equal opportunity.

  • We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or exclusion in any form
  • We actively seek to platform brands founded by or serving underrepresented communities
  • We review our own practices regularly and hold ourselves accountable to improving

DEI is not a checkbox for us. It is a lens through which we make decisions.

Fair & Equal Pay

We are committed to paying everyone fairly and equitably for the work they do. This means:

  • Equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background
  • Compensation that meets or exceeds the Real Living Wage for all roles
  • Transparent pay structures with no unexplained disparities
  • Regular pay audits to identify and address any gaps

We expect the same commitment from any supplier, partner, or brand we work with.

Health & Safety

The wellbeing of everyone connected to Uniplug — team members, collaborators, and the communities we serve — is non-negotiable.

  • We maintain a safe working environment in compliance with UK health and safety law
  • We support mental health as seriously as physical health, and foster a culture where people feel safe to speak up
  • We expect suppliers and partners to uphold equivalent standards across their operations and supply chains

Child & Forced Labour

We have zero tolerance for child labour, forced labour, or any form of modern slavery. This is absolute and non-negotiable.

  • We will not platform, partner with, or source from any entity that uses or tolerates child or forced labour
  • We carry out due diligence on brands and suppliers we work with, and reserve the right to terminate any relationship where these standards are not met
  • We are committed to compliance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015

If you have concerns about practices within our supply chain or network, please contact us at info@uniplug.co.

Supplier Diversity

We believe that a diverse supplier base leads to better outcomes — for business, for communities, and for the planet. We actively seek to work with suppliers that reflect the diversity of the world around us.

  • We give fair consideration to businesses owned by women, people of colour, disabled individuals, and other underrepresented groups
  • We avoid consolidating spend with a small number of dominant suppliers where diverse alternatives exist
  • We encourage the independent brands we platform to adopt the same approach

Environmental Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of everything Uniplug does. We hold ourselves to rigorous environmental standards and apply the same scrutiny to the brands we work with.

  • We only platform brands that demonstrate a genuine commitment to sustainable practices — in materials, packaging, production, and supply chain
  • We do not accept paid placements or partnerships that would compromise our editorial independence or greenwash our platform
  • We minimise our own environmental footprint as an organisation and are transparent about where we still have work to do
  • We do not platform brands that make unsubstantiated environmental claims

Sustainability is not a marketing position. It is how we operate.
