Uniplug helps businesses find, vet, source and supply better products — from foodware and packaging to stationery, cleaning products and other everyday business needs. We look beyond the mass-market default to find products that meet a higher standard.

We work primarily with businesses, particularly restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers, event companies and other hospitality businesses.

We don't simply sell products labelled “sustainable.” We research the product, assess the brand, look at the evidence and only sell products that meet our standards. We also make the process easier by handling sourcing, supplier conversations and ordering through Uniplug.

Because familiar doesn't always mean better. Businesses often buy what is already available, already approved or already on a supplier list. We look beyond that default to find products that may offer a better option.

Better depends on the product and the use case. It can mean better materials, better ingredients, better packaging, stronger certifications, more responsible practices, a better end-of-life solution, or a combination of these. We look at the full picture rather than relying on one label.

Our standards are category-specific, but depending on the category, they can include excluding:

• Petroleum-based plastics — PET, HDPE, PVC
• Plant-based plastics — e.g. PLA
• Microbe-made plastics — e.g. PHA, PHB (assessed case by case)
• Expanded polystyrene (EPS)
• PFAS
• Certain plasticisers — including BPA and BPS

No. We don't offer paid placements. Brands can't buy their way into the Uniplug range.

We don't sell it.

Yes. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll research and source suitable options. However, we only offer a product for sale once it has passed our Uniplug verification process.

Yes. Tell us what you're currently buying, what you're looking to improve and any requirements you have. We'll look for better alternatives that meet your needs and our standards.

Yes. We can work from specifications such as product type, materials, certifications, quantity, dimensions, application or other business requirements and identify suitable options.

No. Where a product is supplied through Uniplug, we handle the supplier relationship, making sourcing and ordering simpler for your business.

We offer competitive pricing across our range. Pricing depends on the product, quantity, specifications and sourcing requirements.

Where available, we can help arrange samples for businesses to assess before committing to an order.
