What we won't accept

Depending on the category, that can mean excluding:

  1. Petroleum-based plastics — PET, HDPE, PVC
  2. Plant-based plastics — e.g. PLA
  3. Microbe-made plastics — e.g. PHA, PHB (assessed case by case)
  4. Expanded polystyrene (EPS)
  5. PFAS
  6. Certain plasticisers — including BPA and BPS
